Omg omg blog dont die, reviving CPR foo foo foo, one two three four five six seven foo foo foo!

I think I'm starting to get a taste of adult life. No, not sex or all that shit, but rather the reducing freedom I had when I was young and led a carefree life. Uh huh maybe in a sense I also gained some kind of freedom, to go to places without always having to ask for permission, report my whereabouts 24/7. Ahh, the contradiction, how should I put it.

For the past week, I've been living on coffee. Without coffee I'd probably be dead right now. It's amazing how people can survive with less than 6 hours of sleep everyday. No wait, not simply survive, but actually look and act normal. Cuz I cant. With that pathetic amount of sleep, I wake up in a foul mood. I get ticked off so easily I sometimes feel sorry for scolding kenneth (but most of the times he still deserves it, wussy.) I shan't elaborate much on that.

It's been a long time since I've blogged, and I admit I cant really remember much details of the things I did for the past 2 weeks. I'll try my best to squeeze stuff out of my brain (which, at this point, nessa would prolly say "You got brain meh!?").

I havent taken pictures of all the presents I received from my dears, and here are the rest of it.

My darling nessa is SO SO SO SWEET to make me this collage! She told me that for the first time in her whole life, she was RUNNING AWAY whenever she saw me. Cuz she cant let me see it until we meet after school. HAHA :D My heart skipped a beat when I saw it, and I was holding it and doing ballet jumps around the concourse out of pure happiness. I'm loved

It's so pretty, and abel's face down at the bottom left hand corner is just, AWESOME.

This is one big surprise I got on my birthday. Don, the only sane guy (out of the 5) in my class gave me this present. It was so unexpected, and IT'S SO FRIGGING @!)@*$%)(! NICE. He actually drew the card himself, imagine that. He's not even a art student. Moreover, I barely even know him all that well! Thanks bunches Don, and we still hav another year to get to know each other better :D

HAHA and this is from gabriel. The whole thing just spells the word "BIMBOTIC". HAHA! Even the brand is called "fluff". Ok just that on my part I think the word fluff is very bimbotic too (think legally blonde and her fluffy pen and notebook). But still, I like it a lot :))

OK THIS IS SO CUTE. Haha gwenlynn (gabriel's younger sister) drew this card for me. SO CUTE (that the card AND her)!! I love you tons gwen <3

AND JESS!!! Even the characters on the files remind me of her. Haha jess I'm positive you'll make a awesome and fantastic friend, one that I can count on to go through thick and thin with. We'll slowly work our way together to become really close friends ya!!

OG7 and others came out to celebrate my birthday on the 17th of August. We went to marina for steamboat cum bbq (I've never seen anything like that before and was immensely fascinated). Coincidentally, halfway through our dinner, came fireworks. We all rushed out, climbed and hung onto railings just to get a clearer view of the fireworks.

Abel was at the back saying "Na, Jane, we planned those fireworks JUST FOR YOU, it's your birthday present. Do you know how much they cost of not, ten thousand dollars just for one leh."

The OG met up on national day at island creamery. It was an exceptionally large og gathering cuz people like yong sheng and mel came too :)) It was dessert then lunch and lots of cards and talking. Not to forget cam whoring :D

Haha oh yes and talking about cards, I suppose bridge is like a JC game or smth. Hardly anyone knows about the existence of bridge in primary and secondary school. Then, when you step in poly or JC, seems like everyone knows how to play bridge. There's even a bridge competition coming up in AC, and friends, I'm in it (haha and why in the world would I not be in it. It's BRIDGE.)

It's slowly becoming a habit to meet up with nessa after school just to hang out at the bleachers, or somewhere. Normally, when you put nessa and jane together, you'll get cam whores. That's right.

By the way I crashed temasek poly the other day, with LL bringing me around. The fish and chips, or according to LL, fush and chup, was AMAZING. It's so nice, the portion's so big, and it only costs 2.60. A bowl of mushroom soup with alot of mushrooms only cost a ridiculous EIGHTY CENTS. I wonder how much profit that "lai, hallo" uncle actually yields by selling his food so cheaply. Adding to that, the indian store next door sells nice hot donuts at only 40 cents. OMG UNCLES ANUTIES ARE YOU ALL EARNING!?

Yup and that will conclude my post for the day. I shall try to blog more often and capture all the tiny but happy moments I have from time to time. I dont want to grow up and forget them all.

Were the people around me smiling when I was brought to this world?

A few days back I just finished watching this JDrama on a 14 year old girl who gave birth. She and her family went through a lot of pain, shed a lot of tears, but the joy she received upon seeing her baby was indescribable. I can tell that every child is ultimately important to its parents, cuz they gave them life. But I'm not up to that level of understanding yet. Nahh I'm not complaining about anything here. I know my parents love me, but just how much they love me I dont think I'll know until I become a parent myself ((:

9th Aug 07

Singapore's Birthday! Met up with dearest dearest OGers (say oh-guhhs) at island creamery. That, was the start of my constipation diet. I'll talk about that later.

Anyway we played cards and had an amusing time watching Nessa steal Abel's chunky apple pieces and seeing Abel desperately trying to protect his apple pieces while controlling himself not to swear continuously. Oh how we love his "fuck you!" :DDD

Then, we cam whored outside island creamery with Uncle McDonald and headed to Al-ameen for lunch. Subsequently, we disbanded and the girls headed over to my place!! We just totally slacked in my room. Everybody was so lazy to get up to do something. Haha :))

Near evening, a few of the girls left and jessica joined us (being Nessa, LL and I) for sleep over!! Talking about sleep over, I was so surprised when my dad immediately said yes when I asked him about it. In fact, I was so surprised (with a bizarre mixture of fear and relief) that I cried. Haha, and I mean really cry. Not just tears of joy or what. I was like okay how should I type this. "shhhnfff... hehhhh huhhh huhhh.... wuh nggggg..... hehh huhh huhhh" OK I dont know if that made sense but it should.

Ok back to the sleep over (or did I even leave the topic). The four of us walked over to NTUC and started our food spree. We bought tons and tons and tons and zomg just tons of junk food, with a bill that totals up to 48 dollars. Jess sat in the trolley and Nessa was her Mum, LL her Dad, and me being the kidnapper. I kidnapped the helpless jess and hid her behind some aisle :D





We started pigging out in the tatami room, watching tom and jerry and other random shows. Then, we watched more videos on the comp and made sushi in the kitchen which was fun fun fun (AND YUMMY TOO!). We played majong until 4am and I din win a single game :/ then, we zonked out.

Morning greeted us and we watched the simpsons season 2 (the movie was wayyyyy better). Nessa and Jess left for class gathering while LL and I continued pigging around in the bed which we conveniently shifted to in front of the comp :D

Oh yes about the constipation. All the way back to this morning, I din eat anth. Then, with annoying hunger pangs, I ate a McDonald's meal for lunch (I skipped dessert at island creamery = less guilt). Drank starfruit juice in Al-ameen. Ate KFC for dinner. We devoured choco teddy biscuits, chicken nuggets, seaweed, drinks, sushi, calbee hot and spicy, pringles, campbell's soup, cheese toast and dunno wad else, all within one night and one morning. Like whaooooo. CONSTIPATION ALARM!!!

Today started out as a great day. My mum, sister and I went to town together at noon. It has been real long since I've went out with my mum, and I knew it was gonna be fun. We went to have lunch at sushi tei, then I went to have my facial session which was scheduled at 2. After the much agonizing process (yes facial is painful), I went down to meet my mum and sister. We shopped for a bit, and ended up in DKNY.

I was trying some clothes with my mum in the dressing room. I like this particular blouse but it was a little too tight up at the shoulder blade and chest. The larger sizes were out of stock, so I was down there contemplating whether to get it or not.

Mum: "Aiya, I go back HK and help you see if there's a bigger size la."

Me: "Huh? HK? But by then it'll be winter already wad, where are you gonna find this short sleeved blouse."

Mum:" Winter? Why would it be winter."

Me (very confused): "Huh? December not winter meh??"

Mum: "next week la."

Me: "YOU'RE GOING BACK TO HK NEXT WEEK!? Why you never tell me???"

Mum: "tell you for wad. The other time there's no more air tickets ma, so we go back next week la."

Me: "But next next week's my birthday..."

Mum: "Aiya, then this (the blouse) is your birthday present lo. Do you know how much it cost or not, 300+ leh."

There was a long pause, and finally I opened my mouth and said I dont want the blouse already.

Mum: "Why? It's nice wad."

Me: "I dont really like it THAT much la."

For the rest of the day, I was feeling really moody, and couldnt stop myself from ignoring my mum. What was she thinking man? She think I got so worked up about her and dad going back to hk cuz I wont get a BIRTHDAY PRESENT!? If that's really the case I could've just thrown a bitch fit and demand for a large sum of money cant I? How insensitive can one get?

This wasnt the first time it has happened. And it's not like as if they have no choice but to go back next week. I dont want to end up like those tragic drama, where the parents are so obsessed in getting richer that they totally neglect their kids, throwing money at them and thinking it'll make them happy.

Birthdays are supposed to make you special.
