Baking at Khairul's
15th Feb 08

Khairul's mum is damn funny. The moment we entered the house, her first sentence was:

"So which one's my daughter-in-law?"

Omg. Haha then we pushed Lala forward (who unfortunately was unaware of what's happening) and she said: "Oh hello auntie."

"Oh this one ah?"

Hahaha awww :D

Khairul's mum is really young and hip whoo hoo. She baked these amazing cookies that tasted very much like famous amos cookies. And she just refuses to tell us what's in that secret recipe. Haha! We played bridge, ate mash potato, french fries, chicken nuggests, omg like lots and lots and lots of fatty food. Not very advisable for the health and weight conscious bunch. But they are sooo good.

Back to our original mission, we started packing and sealing (the sealing machine is damn fun I want one too) and tying the cookies. 5 cookies for $2. It's a rip off I tell you. But it's for fund-raising, which, justifies all prices of goods. Everyone who ate the cookies said it's damn good though yay!

Sold them at churches on sunday, then in school on monday. Made ourself rich rich people :D
